Kluay Mai Guest House

Camera pulita e silenziosa tipica di una Guest House in stile thailandese a 2 passi dall’accesso diretto in spiaggia. È molto importante perché gli accessi sono pochissimi e molto distanti tra loro. L’host gentilissima organizza qualsiasi tipo di viaggio e offre tutti i servizi che servono, in più mi ha fatto trovare due bottiglie di acqua fresca nel frigo in camera. Ci tornerei sicuramente.

Very convenient guest house at a practical location. The guesthouse is in a quiet area at the river, the beach is within a few minutes walk and it's a nice walk to the center 20-30 minutes. We got two rooms, both nice and well furnished, with a private bathroom. The beds were comfortable with perfectly clean sheets. WiFi was working reliably, AC was fine as well. We were happy to stay here and definitely come back again. It's a good value given the location and clean beds. We also went to the silver beach and coral cove beach, these were even better for the snorcheling. So was the Lamai beach at the point of the famouse rocks. Overall the island is fine, but very touristic, not very typical Thailand. Also taxis make a cartel and it's very difficult to get anywhere for a reasonable price. At least for arrival and departure we took the transport provided by the ferry company and that worked perfectly. For restaurants the situation is easy and you will find plenty of good options nearby. We particularly liked the Malee kitchen.

El personal fue muy amable en todo momento y te hacían sentir como en casa.

La señora de la recepción que lleva el hostal es genial. Es muy amable, siempre pregunta si necesitas algo y te recibe con una sonrisa. Volvería a este sitio por su buena actitud. Además las habitaciones están muy limpias, todo funcionaba y está muy bien ubicado.

The owners were both lovely and friendly and helpful. The location is down a side street so it’s nice and quiet but close enough for a quick walk into the main areas and the beach. Lots of great restaurants all around. My room had a big bed and big bathroom. No complaints at all.
