Elegant apartment with a central location in Oslo

Ljus lägenhet. Rent.

Att man inte kan checka in före kl 16.00-22.00. Man kan inte checka in efter kl 22. Man måste lämna kl 10.00. Vi använde bäddsoffan som var obekväm. Värden glömde att lämna 1 lakan men vi fick det andra dagen. Det finns bara 2 koppar men kanske 50 glas(?). Fönstret mot gatan har inga gardiner. Insyn. Vid soligt väder blir det nog olidligt!? Lägenheten fungerar nog bäst om man bara sover i sovrummet. Ägaren borde köpa ny bäddsoffa och sätta in persienner av någon sort. Det passerar trickar utanför. Mycket trafik.

Great location, and nice apartment if you’re a party of 2 adults.

Hidden fees and no help to solve problem with infant guest. The apartment listing advertises 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed, but no bedding was provided for sofa bed and an additional NOK500 fee was demanded by the host. We booked a stay for 2 adults and a 2-year old child. Booking specified “Free stay for your child - Your child (2 years old) can stay here for no extra charge’. We did not order a cot bed, as 2-year old is too big for a cot, and the property listing promises 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed. The host’s confirmation email made no mention of sofa bed, or cot bed, or any additional fee options. When we arrived there were no sheets for the sofa bed. Two hours after check-in opened we messaged the host about this, and were told that the sofa bed required an extra NOK500 payment, and that sheets could be brought the following day only if we paid an additional NOK500. The host did not apologise and insisted that this is clear on the Booking.com listing, and that we should have requested the sofa bed 48 hours before arrival. This fee is not mentioned on the main listing page, or on the ‘Cot and extra bed policies’ section. The host insisted that it is clear on a separate ‘Managed by BA5 Apartments As’ page, at line 45, which states ‘If you book for 2 guests but would like us to prepare the sofa bed… an additional fee of 500 NOK applies for this service.’ We specifically booked for three guests, not two guests. And our booking specifically stated that our child stayed for free. The host’s booking confirmation emails did not mention any additional fees or bed restrictions. And the host did not warn us that our three-person booking would only receive one double bed. The listing is clearly misleading, and the host provided no help other than demanding a fee to provide sheets a day too late. Only two towels were provided for our party of three. There are also no blackout curtains, blinds or privacy screens between the sofa bed and the street.

De lokatie en de ruimte.

Geen gewone verwarming. Alleen een losse electrische radiator. Ook kon je na het uitchecken ochtends om 10.00 uur je koffer niet meer kwijt in het gebouw. Voor een latere vlucht aan het eind van de dag is dat vervelend. Verder was het appartement van alle gemakken voorzien behalve dus de verwarming.

The stay at Elegant Apartment in Oslo was nothing short of wonderful. Everything was clean and ready for our visit. The location was perfect for many transportation options. The host communication was very quick and concise. We would love to stay here again in the future.

Íbúðin var einstaklega falleg og tandurhrein. Rúmið var gott, sturtan mjög fín, eldhúsaðstaðan mjög góð og í raun allt til fyrirmyndar. Staðsetningin frábær og gestgjafarnir svöruðu fljótt og vel. Ein besta íbúð sem ég hef gist í.

The apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable. Good amenities and near to major attractions such as the Royal Palace, Karls Johan Gate, Oslo S. Quick response from host to all my queries pre- and during stay. Thanks Agneta & Kim.

Suggested areas for improvement - brighter light in the bedroom, the oven tray could be cleaner. There was hair shampoo and conditioner but missing shower gel.
