DEthis was the best stay in Sri Lanka! it was such an idyllic and peaceful place, to relax and be in nature. the cabin was really beautiful and cozy. And the breakfast was incredibly!!!! the owner is such a goof cool and they’re so friendly and welcoming! I would recommend 100%!!!! It was such an oasis, thank you so much :)

IEThis was the most amazing guesthouse! We were supposed to drive straight to Sigiriya but we had to find a stop on the way as it got dark. Thank God we did as this was one of the best finds we had in Sri Lanka!!! The family hosting us were the most kindest, friendliest and welcoming people we have met travelling ever! They served us dinner and breakfast which was the tastiest and most plentiful food we've eaten here yet! The accommodation itself is stunning and the views around property are gorgeous. They even showed us around their home where they grow their own fruit/veg that is served in their meals. Would absolutely recommend this place, especially if you are travelling from Colombo/Negombo to Sigiriya to stop over on the way for the most authentic and immersive experience on the island.

ATAn „insider‘s tip“ for travelers who will appreciate a beautiful and authentic home-stay a little off the mainroad, surrounded by Sri Lankan nature. We found this place by chance, when our tuk-tuk-trip from Negombo to Sigiriya got too long and we decided to take a break. Next time around, we will definitely come here again on purpose. Wajira and his beautiful family have welcomed us with open arms and open doors. We felt at home very quickly because of their friendliness. We enjoyed the Sri Lankan food, interacting with the family and the whole atmosphere. Thank you for everything!

KGthe food! it was the best meal we had in all over Sri Lanka (2 weeks), the location is private, no tourists at all in nearby area, so it’s truly a local home stay vibe. there was hot water and overall comfortable.
it’s very new so the owner has room to improve. would be nice if all bedsheets and towels were made of cotton. would be nice to have a hair dyer.
