NZNZThe garden setting is pretty. The space for large family gatherings. The pool. The bathrooms were nice, with pump soaps and shampoos. Jennifer and her husband, who are managing the property for a friend, were very nice.
The description and photographs in Booking.com advert are not a true representation of the villa. It has luxury potential, but it is definitely not luxury. It was minimally furnished, the windows weren't clean, and there were cobwebs the skirting boards in places. Rubbish bins had not been emptied from previous guests, and 1x large plastic bag was provided. (6 x days?) Minimal crockery - 6 dinner plates, 6 desert plates, 6 wine glasses, 6 other. No cups/mugs, no salad bowls.. Not luxury. Beautiful large deck, no outdoor seating of substance - 3 x trestle tables and 5 plastic chairs, no sun shade umbrellas. Not luxury. Large TV not connected to aerial. U-tube available. Handles on a door and windows broken, or screws missing so not secure. Our son brought screws and fixed some. Not luxury. Paint chipped entrance stairs proved unsafe for us. My husband fell down and landed on the broken China bowl he was carrying. Seriously cut and in hospital for three days with weeks of healing to go through.
