TK-George Apartments by the Airport

The access was easy and well structured, the communication with the host was fast and efficient most of the time. He informed us beforehand via WhatsApp about all the necessary details. We arrived late and left very early for an early flight, that’s the only valid reason to stay here.

The host tried to make us book an airport taxi for 40 Euros instead of recommending one of the normal apps to us (FREENOW, Uber) or have a metered taxi pre booked. We booked it ourselves and ended up paying 13 Euros to the airport at 0430am. The property is a repurposed shop. In the outskirts of town. There are no windows but the AC worked alrightish. The bathroom could’ve been a lot cleaner and the furnishing seemed pretty worn down.

Was very clean, the staff were very friendly. It’s close from Athens city and the town super quiet and peaceful. If you don’t need or want to be in the downtown. Markopoulo it’s a good choice. The only bad thing it’s the waiting time for bus or metro. Take that in consideration but nothing serious

We only booked the room to stay overnight going from and to the airport. For this reason it was a good value for money, no frills no thrillls just to lay down for the night.

Bathroom could be a bit cleaner

The apartment was big, clean, tidy and comfortable, and the location was perfect for me.

An improvement would be to place a mirror in the main area near a plug, since there is no plug (or at least I didn't find one) in the bathroom, so using the the hair dryer had to be done without a mirror. Also the tap of the shower has some leak when is used, although it didn't bother me much, personally. The flush of the toilet also leaks and needs to be opened and press on a part to stop the leak. When these are fixed the bathroom will be perfect.
