Lakeside Escape with Hot Tub

A lovely, spacious lodge with ample storage and beautiful views. Parking next to the lodge is a great perk! Cleaned well, and the dishwasher tablets, toilet roll and washing up liquid were a nice touch. The Hot Tub was a fantastic extra. The park is well kept, with a simple play park for children. The company put on a Halloween trail around the park, which was a nice touch. I'd absolutely recommend this park, and lodge, if the below was fixed.

1. The main front door has no key therefore no entrance or exit, apparently it was lost before. This gave us an uneasy feeling as 1. this is an escape that is now unusable and 2. someone could come in if they still had the key. 2.The extractor fans in each bathroom didn't work making the caravan steamy (it's 1 degree currently in the morning so not ideal to open the windows) Reported to the office, checked but not fixed. 3. The fridge doesn't work. Reported to the office, checked but not fixed. On day two our milk had gone off. It's bulging at the back and is basically a 'cool box'. Not ideal, but we shopped each day and brought it back rather than risk it going off again - freezer is absolutely fine.

High standard lodge. Perfect for two couples. Hot tub was a very generous size. Very big master bedroom with bath ensuite.

Loved the location very pretty views quiet and relaxing ! Would recommend 100%

Had to buy my own hand soap. Only had one toilet roll for the duration of my two night stay. Sink was full of dirty water. Alot of dog hair and the blankets smelt quite doggy. There were only minor things and wouldnt stop me from coming back. I would 100% recommend
