Tea Rose House

Antique feeling, very carefully decorated, beautiful flowers, piecefully, clean, everything in working order, beautiful veranda, careful host. Great for people with likeness and appreciation for antique styles and piece in mind. Perhaps be careful if with small children, not to break some of the decorations.

Paní domácí byla naprosto úžasná, skvěle nás přivítala, krásně s námi komunikovala, pravá italská dáma - milá, ale diskrétní. Posezení na verandě bylo famózní, k dispozici i zahrada, i když není klimatizace, v bytě horko nebylo. Byt prostorný, útulný, čistý. Rozhodně doporučuji. Na luxusní divokou pláž v Lago di Puccini cca 40 minut autem, Lucca je jedno z nejkrásnějších a nejpříjemnějších měst světa, do Florencie jsme dojeli vlakem z Pistoia. Villa Reale (v sousedství ubytování) rozhodně stojí za návštěvu

Trošku lepší vybavení kuchyně by bylo fajn.

Struttura e proprietari davvero molto accoglienti. Fantastico lo spazio fuori, sia la veranda che il giardino per le serate dove la temperatura era più fresca. Casa pulitissima e tenuta con grande cura e amore, che ti fa sentire a casa tua.

Nulla! Non c’è l’aria condizionata ma ci hanno fornito un ventilatore (magari averne un secondo per la seconda stanza sarebbe ideale!) perché non ci sono le zanzariere alle finestre. :)

Authentic Italian property with garden

Great location for anybody looking to explore Tuscany and beyond into this part of Italy. Lucca is beautiful and only 10 mins down the road by car, Pisa just 30-40 mins away and Florence an hour. Viareggio and the beaches are 50 mins. The house itself is in a very quiet, peaceful location close to some of the most stunning villas in Italy - and with a number of decent pizzerias within a few mins walk. There is an excellent supermarket 3 mins by car. Tea Rose house is comfortable enough; three decent sized bedrooms with good beds. Wifi was good. The kitchen was a little basic, but perfectly practical. The lack of stand up shower was a slight frustration, but there is a shower head for use in the bath. The owners are lovely - very welcoming. The addition of plums and cucumbers form the garden was welcome and it was great to know people were on hand should any issues arise - not that they did. All in all, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others, and we will certainly be back to Lucca again!

Adding a shower curtain and wall mounted shower would be a bonus. Including wine glasses in the kitchen would also be good.
