For Students Only Triumph House Nottingham

The room was nice and comfortable. I really liked that in the kitchen within the suite (several rooms with common kitchen), everybody has their own cabinet and fridge to store food, which you open by the access card. I really appreciated free access to saunas and gym.

As it is a student accommodation, there were late evenings/nights which were quite loud - students talking in the corridor, going back and forth, or hanging out in the kitchen/living room (there is a couch and a TV). The rooms are not very well noise isolated, so I could hear people from the corridor, neighbouring rooms, and outside. I hoped this acommodation will be quiet according to some previous reviews, but it was not as quiet as I need for sleep. It is understandable at this type of accommodation, but it is something to be aware of before boooking if you need quiet for your sleep.

Great location for QMC/University Park. Kitchen facilities great - very clean and good appliances available. TV in room a nice bonus. Appreciated the coffee machine in the lobby.

Staff initially not present at check in. Wasn’t sure I was in the right place as the building isn’t labelled Triumph House (note to fellow travellers: it says ‘Student Inn’ and there’s a car dealership across the road). Mattress caused an old back injury to flare up. Not sure if it was lumpy or just not a compatible mattress type for me, but as another reviewer commented theirs was lumpy too, it’s probably that! NO LOO ROLL provided!!! Future travellers beware, don’t get caught out like I did!!!!!!!! Kitchen system is a bit complicated to get used to - could some guidance/quick start info sheets maybe be provided? Took a while to figure it out and still didn’t get it quite right (oven turned off mid way through cooking!).

They told me there was a private kitchen inside the bedroom, but there was not.

APPALLING DEALING WITH AN AUTOMATED SERVICE

Muy limpia la habitación y el baño -que es de agradecer-, instrucciones claras de check in, bien ubicado para el QMC y la universidad y las instalaciones son muy completas. No hice uso pero se veían en buenas condiciones y disponibles en múltiples horarios.

Sugiero una renovación del colchón pronto, se notaba su uso y no era confortable para descansar bien. También la limpieza de la cocina común era mejorable.
