Luxury Lakeside Caravan with hottub and private fishing peg, Tattershall Lakes

The animals that visited us, beds were comfy, it was clean and properly furnished.

Broken fridge freezer which did get replaced however with it being super hot we couldn't put any big bottles of water or pop in the temporary one to be chilled, also with the fridge being broken and the hot tub man visiting we had people come evey day apart from 1 which felt a bit invasive 🙁 Partner paid to fish but that part of the lake was shallow and extremely weedy so he said it wasn't a good place to fish. Was meant to be checking in between 3-4 but had to sit and wait for the cleaners to come to clean it so didn't get to unpack the car till nearly 6pm Also worried about damaging anything and had to be cautious when using hot tub as i had to pay a £200 deposit and didn't want to lose it. Couldn't enjoy the outdoor seating area as the tree was really low hanging over it.

Location was okay on the pond,

On arrival we placed our food shopping into the fridge freezer, next morning having breakfast we noticed our milk was warm, along with the rest of our refrigerated things. They requested a damage deposit of £200 from me and it was taken by bank transfer. So once we checked out I received pictures on WhatsApp with a picture of a rubbish bag full and tied, a few pots we left in sick, not many. A pictures of a cushion with a tiny scuff mark. Told we would not be getting the deposit back due to extra cleaning bill. Avoid this lodge, owned by a company that don’t look after it and try to make money by taking your damage deposit.

Lovely private location, close to the main site, lovely caravan, enjoyed the hot tub and fishing peg.

No wifi, although this is in the description, so pleased to see a dvd player with a large choice of dvd's, unfortunately dvd player not working.

Good location, caravan close to main area. Hot tub nice, albeit cover heavy - 2 person job to remove & cover. Lovely to see the swans, ducks & ducklings. Owner communication & responses prompt & helpful.

Paying extra for entertainment passes to enter main area, very little wifi. Very little basic provisions supplied (ensure you take everything with you - i.e dish soap, cloth, condements etc). No hair dryer, or we couldn't find it.

Fishing! We booked this as a fishing break. Unable to fish due to such shallow water.

Wasn't cleaned very well mud on the walls, confetti on the floors still from previous guests and glow sticks and pens under the sofa cushions
