Perla Mediterranea by Taormina Holidays

Amazing location and great size for all 5 of us! We loved Taormina and felt very close to everything. Pool was a great bonus!

The property had a magnificent view. We greeted by Xenia and shown around the property including local attractions.

Vehicle access was separate from property address

Absolutely amazing location right in the centre of Taormina. The host Ksenia was so lovely and accommodating. She met us when we arrived, showed us round, responded to messages during our stay, gave lots of recommendations and helped us store luggage when we checked out. Property is spacious with a stunning view from the balcony and a lovely pool. Hair dryers and toiletries provided as well as coffee etc.

Could have been a bit cleaner, hairs in the bathroom and shower when we arrived. One shower didn’t stay on the wall.

The apartment is in an excellent location, only a short stroll to the Porto Messina gateway to the old town, and close to the bus stop, but away from the busy street. The view is superb and the balcony catches the morning sun. Perfect for breakfast. The pool is fabulous, clean and has a sensational view. The kitchen is well equipped, and the bedrooms comfortable, with the main bedroom opening into the balcony. Two bathrooms is a bonus. We were greeted by a very pleasant host, who showed us around the apartment and complex, and told us all we needed to know.

The living room is quite spartan. Some cushions on the sofa would be nice. The only light source in the room is in the opposite corner to the sofa, so it is difficult to read on the sofa in the evening.

The view from the balcony was amazing and the location was great and the apartment was well equipped . The Meet and Greet was very helpful and informative.

Apartment needs updated and some areas needed cleaned ( eg . under the sofa ) . Also the chairs on the balcony are not comfortable.

It was a great location for our trip, just a few minutes walk to the centre of Taormina, the cable car, and the old amphitheatre. The apartment was clean and well equipped with stunning views from the balcony. The rooms were comfortable and the apartment had 2 well equipped bathrooms. The infinity pool was a nice surprise - we knew there was a pool at the apartment block but didn't realise the views you would get from here!

We did have a couple of small issues but nothing that affected out trip too much. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment but it was a 1 bedroom apartment with a large sofa bed in the main living area (Booking.com really need to get on top of the descriptions on their site as this was a common theme during our travels around the island). Fortunately the kitchen was big enough to use as a communal area and the sofa bed was comfortable so we made it work. The balcony was also accessible from both the bedroom and living room so you could keep the living room private. One of the bathrooms had a leak every which unfortunately couldn't be fixed while we were there.
