Incredible view from the room and balcony. Very close to Brom National Park.

No toilet paper in room when I arrived, door was locked with a padlock, rather than the door lock itself, which was hard to take off and put back on.

The bathroom smelled really bad and you had to throw the toilet paper in the bin, not really warm water, the mattress was really laid in and you could feel the spring in the mattress. It was also really cold in the bathroom and the room but we asked for an extra blanket and it was no problem.

Nice staff! Comfortable place to stay. Just a basic place, but when you're a low budget traveller, this is a great and cheap place to stay. Also on walking distance from the Bromo vulvano!

I honestly found the owner to be quite rude. I didn't feel very welcome, and he tried to overcharge me, despite the booking rate being fixed beforehand. Also something very strange...there was only one plug outlet and it was halfway up the wall, so I literally had to hold the base of the kettle in my hands while I boiled water for my coffee in the morning. I also had to hang my phone from its charger in order to charge it overnight.

Place

No proper bed sheets, only dirty blanket, no towels. Bathroom is moldy, dirty, peeling walls. Host family members are bothersome, constantly offering to rent dirty jackets for unreasonable price. Do not recommend.

The location is great. Expected a lot worse for the money.

The shower water is a little cold. Normally that would be fine but it is cold on Bromo.
