"Amazing stay! Peaceful, tranquil and wonderful"

What a beautiful cottage! One of the very best we've been to. Wonderfully and authentically furnished, nestled at the entrance to the Thetford forest yet secure (gated) we had the most wonderful time there. We could let out little one play in the garden which is well landscaped. The facilities were top notch - reliable wifi, a modern kitchen, constant hot water on demand, spotlessly clean and good beds. Mel and Chris, the hosts, were accomodating to our needs. They even left some goodies in the kitchen on arrival. The forest walks are just at our doorsteps and we saw drifts of bluebells blooms on our walks in April. The Shepherd's Baa cafe also serves a decent coffee outside.

The location is absolutely spot on!! I really loved everything about my stay here... the facilities were perfect, WiFi was perfect and it was easy to find. I could hear birds singing during the day and at night it was beautifully tranquil. The communication from the hosts was excellent - I had a number of questions before arriving and these were all answered promptly. I cannot wait to go back!

Honestly, there was nothing I did not like. My only regret was that I couldn't stay for longer.

It was absolutely stunning and even better than the photos! The fire pit was magical and the hosts were so responsive and helpful in planning the stay. I went with 20 friends and all of us said we would love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Lynford Holiday Cottages. The location is amazing, right next to the arboretum, and the on-site cafe is fantastic for coffee and snacks. Communication with our hosts was great and we really appreciated the lovely little touches provided in our welcome package. Thank you so much!

The noise from the nearby military bases during the day time was louder than expected and was quite disconcerting before we read that section of the guide. It might be good to mention this in advance communications, just to save people any worrying.
