CHINE COTTAGE self-catering coastal bungalow in rural West Wight

Excellent location, a short walk to a beautiful beach.

Bedroom was very small, difficult to get around the bed with a wardrobe in the room as well.

I don't often write reviews, but this was such an exceptional property! Yes it is small (as advertised), but it was meticulously clean, and had absolutely everything you could possibly need. The beds were also very, very comfortable (which is so rarely the case). Lovely, peaceful location.

Pretty well equipped place and had almost everything I could want. Well laid out accommodation and the site is peaceful and open, which is perfect for us. Great walking opportunities and a lot of information provided

Would have liked if there was a bar/pub a bit nearer (about a mile to The Vine) but not a big issue as there were shops around.

The cleanliness, the view and the area such a home from home.

Everything was fine.

The chalet was well presented and clean. Everything you could possibly need was provided. We had spoken to the hosts prior to our visit and advised we were travelling with our 1 year old and they very kindly provided a highchair and travel cot which meant we didn't need to pack them and had more room in the car. The park is lovely and quiet, with great views and a beach with access only 2 minutes away.

As lovely as the chalet is, it's not really suitable for very young children. There is a glass coffee table, the broadband router was set on a low table, the telly is low and the 2 armchairs easily tipped over (which my 3 year old did within 5 minutes of arriving) We had to put a lounger infront of the oven when cooking as our 1 year old kept trying to crawl up to it and climb up it. This is by no means a slight against the hosts as they went above and beyond to accommodate us and were very kind and this is the only issue that we had. We would come back if our children were older

Very clean and has everything you need for a long or short stay. Comfortable beds and the location is beautiful with a private beach. Very quiet during our stay at the beginning of July!
