I booked this apartment specifically because it advertised fully equipped kitchen and l will be in Phnom Penh for 3 months. The kitchen did not represent the images on your website. I had to ask for the microwave and was told it was not standard in the rooms. To their credit they did bring me a one, they told me the toaster was broken so they couldn’t provide me with that. On my first night l was woken at around 11.30pm by a staff member holding a eftpos machine and telling me that she had forgot to charge me the 10.00 security deposit. I told her l was already in bed and asked if this could wait till morning, however she just stood there until l agreed to complete the transaction. This was the first time l complained about the hardness of the mattress. On my second day there l went to dry my hair and it didn’t work but l could feel heat when touching the hairdryer. Upon close inspection l could see the tip of the hairdresser was slightly melted. I return it to reception and they told me they would bring another one to my room. That never happened. Also on the second day l complained again about the hardness of the mattress, they told me they would bring a topper to my room. I also told them my tv didn’t work and later that day they sent maintenance to my room. After trying unsuccessfully to get the tv to work he told me he would be back tomorrow to fix it. I did not get a working tv until the 8th day of my stay. I asked 4 times for a topper or another doona but they never brought anything to my room. On Saturday the 9th l sent an email to the email address provided by your site asking to checkout early, noting my concerns and requesting the remaining paid stay to be refunded. I did not receive a response from the hotel until the 15th and their reply did not address any of my concerns. My room was only cleaned 3 times, even though l hung the service sign on my door everyday and l often witnessed the cleaners on my floor, my room went untouched.

I had a very serious and dangerous experience at this hotel. The rooftop pool had several large wooden sections that were left completely open with no warning signs whatsoever. When I went swimming in the evening, I could not see my feet and my leg fell into one of these open gaps — a sharp metal edge cut my leg badly. Because of this injury, I had to go to the hospital and get a tetanus shot, which cost me a significant amount of money. On top of that, I suffered for about a week due to the wound on my leg. When I went to the hotel staff and asked if they had anything to clean the wound, they told me they had NO first aid supplies — not a single item. This is completely unacceptable for a large hotel. Putting a guest’s safety at risk like this is truly inexcusable. The pool itself was also dirty and not well-maintained — I barely saw anyone swimming in it. It is definitely not as described. For such an expensive hotel, the quality is very disappointing. I do not recommend this place at all.

We booked the location for two reasons: Netflix or streaming in general like advertised & pool facilities The TV was in chinese, as was the streaming provider....not even YouTube worked... The pool is quite nice, but it is on the very top of the building with no shade at all...all the other pools in sight have some kind of roofs ar shading....
