Porta di Castro Design Apartment with Terrace by Wonderful Italy

We stayed here with another couple for 4 nights. The location is more than impressive. The pictures are 100% representative of the accommodation, and we really enjoyed all the amenities and everything that we had at our disposal. The communication with the host was top notch (as they are certified professionals) and their suggestions were very good. We had a good time, and we were very happy with our choice.

The beds were a bit uncomfortable (the pillows especially were too hard for all of us). And besides this small inconsistent point, the location (although central) is not very appealing. However, as we noticed, this extends to the entire city center of Palermo, so at the end we realized our street was actually one of the cleaner and better ones.

Generally a very nice stay, but a few things would make it much better. 1. The shower door in the main bathroom did not keep shower water in the shower stall so that the bathroom floor was flooded. Needs to be fixed, both for quality of experience, and especially, safety. 2. Wish we had a dish towel and a cloth wiping cloth for the kitchen to wipe up spills and dry coffee cups. 3. Coffee maker useless - required capsules which none of the local stores carried.

Equipment provision was shockingly deficient

The location is in the middle of the historical district and within walking distance of almost everything. The deck provided an exciting view of the city.

It is clearly listed that this is on the fourth floor without a lift. This may not sink in until you have climbed the stairs several time with groceries. Not a deal breaker, just be warned.
