We did not stay here. We arrived to the compound and were taken to huts that certainly haven't had any love or care for quite some time. The idea of the place is great, however, the mosquito netting did not cover the gaps between the walls and ceiling and we knew bugs would get in. It was so rustic we felt uncomfortable when we first saw the cabins. I threw back the covers to make sure there were no spiders in the bed and it was crawling with bed bugs. Needless to say, we decided not to stay and explained to the owner, that although he was lovely and the idea of the place seemed cool, we were not comfortable with staying. So, we left and went elsewhere. I would not recommend this place until they do some serious work on the cabins.

what's not to like?!? this was like staying with family in a jungle oasis. valentin is an amazing chef, the food was excellent, the service incredible. clare is a fountain of knowledge of the selva.. our nature walks were just wonderful. i saw wild toucans, flocks of parrots, just an amazing array of plants and animals. falling asleep in the cabin to the jungle sounds was truly unforgettable. 10/10 recommend

Peaceful, rustic eco cabins in the jungle only 14 kms from Tulum Refreshing swimming pool. The hosts are excellent. Unique experience.
