Tilbury Shepherd Huts & Holiday Cottages with Hot Tubs

The view from the hut was just breathtaking. Off grid holiday but with everything you need to just switch off for a proper relaxing stay and the hamper was a lovely touch

Be prepared for red ants. Hot tub was lovely but difficult to get the temperature right

The location was rural and peaceful. The accommodation was spacious and very comfortable. The host was welcoming and helpful. We will definitely return as close to family.

Because of my worsening mobility the steps up to the accommodation were challenging.

Thought it was more isolated

Booked this as part of my partner's 60th birthday present. He absolutely loved it..it was so peaceful, and the view amazing. We used the hot tub twice during our stay. It's wood fired and Matt showed us how to use it. Hut basic, but adorable, we had what we needed. Breakfast hamper lovely. Great sausages. We would certainly go back. Bed was so comfy. Electric shower, so always hot water for washing. Was hoping to get a sunset pic, but the first night it rained, so we were asleep before dusk, and the second night we took a train trip, and it was dark when we got back ..maybe next time! Anything you want, you just contact Matt. Host was friendly and accommodating. Couldn't find the bins, but no problem, we just brought the rubbish home. We had a visit from a friendly pheasant. All in all, very enjoyable.

There wasn't anything not to like

A really quiet and relaxing break. Shepperds hut set in a very isolated spot, just one other hut in our field. We ended up being the only guests in the field so we were completely alone and not overlooked at all. WiFi worked fine. Hot tub was amazing.

Storage is limited so don't take more than you need. No local shops to grab an extra pint of milk within walking distance. Plenty of wildlife but very few farm animals around.

Location was beautiful, Private Hot tub next to the hut was lovely overlooking some incredible views! Hosts were super attentive and helpful. Great features and more than enough supplies for the fires to keep you going!
