City Retreat by the Castle Free Designated Parking

The apartment was comfy, clean and well equipped. A lovely view of Stirling castle from the balcony. The area was nice and quiet.

Didn't realise the distance to the town, not walkable unless fit. There were cheap and quick taxis, and a bus at the bottom of the road if required for the short journey. For three of us it was cheaper and quicker to get a local taxi than to get a bus. The average taxi cost was £5, which between three of us, was easy and convenient.

Everything was new and clean, the apartment is really exceptional.

Eveything was really clean, there was free WI-FI aswell as a tv. There was no noise it was quite which we really enjoyed, the beds were really comfortable aswell as free parking was available

Duvets too thick for time of year. Would have been useful to know the make of the coffee machine so we could bring own pods.

Homely apartment with beautiful views of the castle from the living room balcony. Very comfortable beds with lovely quality cotton bedding for a great nights sleep. Everything appeared to be brand new and of a high standard. Little touches like biscuits and a few pods for the coffee machine plus a few dishwasher tablets, tea bags etc were super helpful for a short stay when you don’t always bring everything with you. Location was good. Easy to find from the directions given and to get parked up. We didn’t use the car to get around Stirling as it’s only a short walk to the centre for shops, restaurants and the castle. The supermarket and mini markets/takeaways are very close by. A great base for exploring Stirling, the castle, the Wallace Monument as well as Kelpies and Falkirk Wheel a short drive away. We had an excellent curry at the Maharaja restaurant in the city centre. Great communication with the friendly host. Highly recommended! : )
