"Great property, excellent location and host"

We have stayed at the Pelican Room several times when visiting family. Having our own dining table, cooking facilities, living room and sizeable bedroom make it a much better value and quality option than staying in a hotel. The whole place is very stylishly decorated with everything you need for a lovely stay plus a super sized, comfy bed. The location is handy for the airport and the NDR but in a surprisingly quiet location. Unlike many villages, I can also go for a run from the house and soon be on a nice tarmac track into the country. As visitors from Wales we always struggle with Norfolk water but this property has water softening hence the water is drinkable 👏 Caroline is also an excellent host and always kindly leaves us little bits and pieces which is nice after a long drive.

Such a lovely and relaxing place. It had everything we needed and was absolutely beautiful. Just what we needed.

The only thing I’d suggest is having anti-allergen bedding available for guests with allergies. They might even provide it if you ask ahead of time. I just didn’t think of it. It wasn’t a deal breaker whatsoever, and I’d still highly recommend staying here.

Really delightful and spacious rooms, i really appreciated all the nice little touches, little treats and it was really nicely furnished. Quiet location and had a great night's sleep. Great for EV charging. Great communication too, beats staying at a hotel hands down.
