Jungle Oasis By Busch Gardens USF and Amphitheater

We had a hard time finding the location and once we found the address we looked at each other and said “There must be a mistake”! Prior to this the owner had texted us and ask what time we planned to arrive. I replied, “Probably around 4 PM”. She replied “Oh great! I’m going to send you the welcome message via the app. I replied” What app? And asked where I could find the letter. I had already been given an entry code. We walked around the property trying to find where we would enter. We had already seen enough to know that we didn’t want to enter the house. I did ring the doorbell as I couldn’t figure out how we were supposed to enter the code. This is probably around 4 PM and she answers, “Give me 5 minutes, I’m just finishing up in the bathroom. I’m thinking we should have been able to enter the rental at 3 PM and now we are standing in an over grown yard, in the hot sun, staring at a house that looks abandoned. There’s a mattress in the breezeway and clothes on the floor and I can just image bugs everywhere. My husband is like, “Let’s get out of here In the following days booking.com informed me that they could not do a refund without the owner contacting them and approving it in writing. It’s been 3 weeks and this has not happened. She hasn’t even approved return of the cleaning deposit, which is the least she should do as we never stepped into the property and it would not require cleaning based on our non-stay. We also found out that the owner lives in the house and that she has dogs, we are not dog owners and would not rent a place with dogs for our relaxing vacation. I can only guess all the glowing reviews on this property come from guest who stayed in the left side of the house, parked on the street, entered from that side into a door with a code. Our rental was on the left side of the house and you had to approach the front of the house and enter thru the breezeway with the mattress and laundry on the floor to get to your door.

My entire stay here was pleasant. Probably my favorite booking in Tampa. The hosts were kind and welcoming, the bed was comfortable, and we swam everyday we were there. The accommodations were more than adequate and the atmosphere was peaceful. Would highly recommend staying here if you visit Tampa!

It was great distance from Downtown Tampa. The owners were lovely and extremely helpful. The hot tub was perfection on a cold night, and I love the attention to detail with decorations!

I Absolutely Love The Jungle Theme In Our Studio And In The Ambience Created In The Pool & Hot Tub Area Very Peaceful & Relaxing 😎 And The Hosts Were Outstanding From Beginning To End.

I liked the ambience of the room.

No on site parking; only street parking. Additionally, since I was attending an concert event later in the evening, the walk way up to the room was as very darks I had to use my cellphone light to see.

I loved everything about the host and property. The host was beyond accomodating for me. Immediate responses and made my very quick trip so pleasant. The space was so cute, very clean and cozy feeling. The bed, was WONDERFUL! So wonderful I almost missed my flight from oversleeping. Lol What I appreciated most was the fact that Rachel provided a fully stocked kitchenette WITH seasonings. You never see AirBnBs really provide ALL the tools to feel at home in the kitchen. As a guest, I don’t want to have to purchase seasonings to cook so kitchens barely are used other than for dishes when I stay places. Thank you attention to detail!!! I’d for sure book again!
