Best little Fredericksburg Bed and Breakfast Unit2

Loved the setting. We would have loved and used the rooftop area, if the weather had cooperated. Liked the privacy. Loved the hanging outside chair. The telescope was nice to have, but unfortunately, the thunderstorm that came in quickly, with winds, blew it over, and broke a piece of the telescope.

We could not figure out how to use the Ninja coffeemaker or the multi purpose cook "box" Would have been nice to have written instructions for both. The couch was broken, so we couldn't sit on it (the center leg was broken.) Also, it desperately needs a sturdy built step from the parking area to the nice concrete deck, for safety (vs. a rock intended to be a step). The smoke alarm went off from the steam of the shower.

The amenities were great love the high end straightener and blow dryer. The towels were very soft and all the soaps smelled so nice. The beds were comfortable as well. The patio was so nice and had plenty of seating near the fire pit. The rooftop patio was also very nice to enjoy.

There were no outlets in the bedroom areas. The water pressure was also very low in the shower and the bathroom is very close to the head of the bed of the second bedroom so it was a bit loud everytime someone went to the bathroom.

Area was pretty and so was all the live stock on the property. The concept was neat but not super well executed.

Many things! The host was rude. The bed fell through the frame because there was only 1 support bar that went through the middle of the frame. When I reached out to the owner he was very rude about it and made the comment that he never said the bed was comfortable! He sent a video of someone jumping on the bed to show it was ok but they were in the very middle where the bar was. The unit had 3 doors to go outside, one is locked and the other two just have a tension rod. There were instructions on how to get into the unit but the code was not working. I had to call the host and he just gave me the code to the lock box for the physical keys. The WiFi didn’t work, the unit had no remotes for the tv, and hope it isn’t windy when you are there because the tarp that is connected to the unit makes lots of noise! We did not get our money back!

Cute little tiny home, very clean, beds were warm. Watched the deer stroll past in the evening and the kids loved looking at the animals in the morning (Turkey, chickens, geese, goat and longhorns).

We got in after dark. The Firepit wasn’t set up and there’s no wood close by, to use the fire pit.

An amazing property to stay in, spent a getaway weekend here. Loved the longhorns and other animals roaming around. Stargazing at night here was incredible on the roof. Customer service was great and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. Enjoyed everything about this place!

Great location. It was so relaxing watching the animals and viewing the stars from the rooftop. Everything was very clean. Water and coffee was a nice touch. The house provided all our needs.

The bed on the south side was broken. The mattress dropped down on the left side.

Was the perfect size for what we needed. Lots of great amenities to make our stay easier.

The space was really clean and comfortable. The animals surrounding the property were awesome and the roof allows the guests to see the beautiful night sky. They also offer a first aid kit which is super important. Management was really friendly :)

I wouldn’t say there was something we didn’t like but the space can be a little tight for 5 adults.
