Das Hotel hat eine top Lage direkt am Fjord und das Frühstück ist sehr gut.

Das Preisniveau der Unterkunft ist für die Ausstattung zu hoch. Das Drei-Gänge-Menü ist für die Qualität der Speisen überteuert.

Mooie plaats, had charme van ouder gebouw. Vlak bij het fjord en de gletchers.

De charme had als keerzijde: trap opsleuren met koffers, zeer kleine kamers waarbij we koffers nauwelijks konden openen. Zaten vlak boven keuken met zeer veel lawaai (muziek en gezang) van beneden. Weg plan om eens vroeger te gaan slapen. je kan blijven eten maar is zeer zeer duur.

Rooms are simple and small, but do the trick! You won’t spend much time in the room.

Den tre-retters middagen åpnet med en nedtur. Kamskjellene var stusselige, to fileter som var tørre og seige og kjedelig anrettet. Hovedretten var grei, oksestek. Desserten var god. Vinpakken, to glass, var god, men høyt priset. Rommet var trangt, og sengen bare tilgjengelig fra én side.

Habitaciones pequeñas y escaleras empinadas, cena bastante cara, pero todo muy bien, limpio y bonito.

The hotel is beautifully located on the water with a nice deck and an indoor living room furnished with many comfortable chairs and sofas, both with excellent views. We enjoyed browsing the used bookstores of Mundal as well. In the evening prior to dinner the owner told us a little bit about himself, the hotel and the area which was a nice personal touch. Our room was quaint and unique, and the building has a lot of charm and personality. Dinner was an additional cost but delicious and relaxing. After visiting many touristy areas this was a very nice respite from the hustle and bustle of the crowds. We wish we had planned to stay another night!

It was all positive. Breakfast was served at 8 and we were unable to take advantage of that since we had to leave early the next morning. A grab and go option would have been fantastic but certainly no deal breaker for us.
