Renovated sea facing cottage on the Eidanger fjord

The location is spectacular, the facilities are awesome, the house is big and equiped with all the necessaries. The host is super nice and helpful, giving the instructions before the arrival and during the visit willing to help you with everything you might need. We loved every moment of it. I think it’s better in the summer, but I recommend this accomodation to everyone, you won’t regret it.

It was a bit cold in the first night because one of the heating machines didn’t work, but next day Per provided us a new one. The amability of these people is beyond expectations. Another problem was with the water, after one person was taking a shower, the next one didn’t have hot water anymore. It was in the last night, Megan was informed, I think the problem is solved now.

The view was amazing, gorgeous house in beautiful location.We had the use of a small boat with outboard from our hosts, we had a great trip around the fjord in the boat.

Only one bathroom and toilet.

The accommodation was comfortable and the view over the fjord was special. The sun deck catches the afternoon and evening sun perfectly for eating alfresco. The location is handy for a number of attractions along the Westfold including the Telemark Canal, Stavern and the Molen geological area. We found some good walks, especially the Rognsflaune Nature Reserve peninsula. Our hosts Megan and Jonny helped us out very promptly with a couple of problems we had with equipment instructions.
