Luxury Beach Villa Ocean Walk Resort Daytona Beach

The view is beautiful. Right on the beach. The outside pools are clean and even when busy they aren't packed. Everyone who works here are very friendly and helpful.

Close to the beach

Our AC did not work in our unit. Maintenance came in the first day after a leak was discovered on another floor and our AC was the cause. It was leaking Freon and the compressor is broken. They worked on it multiple times and didn’t fix it. Then brought a portable AC with ice packs and it did not help at all. We were miserable. They told us they added Freon as a “bandaid” fix and it didn’t help. We were told it will be replaced after our stay…There is no ramp to get to the beach. It was extremely difficult to get all of our beach things down the stairs to the beach in a wagon without a ramp. We also had ROACHES in our room. Someone from pest control had to come twice to spray and we kept finding them. There was no AC in the hallways and only 1-2 elevators were working all week so we had to wait extremely long for the elevators and we were on the 12th floor. Also, I was told by the owner I had to pay $75 for a second parking pass, so I did about a week prior to arriving. When I arrived the front desk told me that all 3-4 bedrooms automatically come with 2 parking passes and I should not have had to pay extra for a second pass.

We have stayed at Ocean walk before our experience with accommodations was much different. The condo was decorated nice and clean. This experience was not up to the standard we would have expected given previous experience.

The furnishings were poor. stained furniture. pull out sofa was broken and underneath filthy. the shower in master bath door needs fixed. The seal was missing allowing water to go onto the floor while showering, even though maintenance put a seal on bottom of shower door still leaked. the furniture on balcony was mildewed. The door going in and out of room the strike plate was not anchored securely making it difficult to shut door. The condo has peeling paint throughout. ceiling in master bath shows sign of leak. lamp shade torn. dining room chairs missing buttons. Our accommodations were not up to the standard we were expecting given our previous stay experience. condo 1204 A&B pitiful.

Very old and filthy apartment and furniture. Totally out of the sky price for such an accomodation. Damaged furniture and dirty sofa. Totally rotten bath tub with black and scratched floor. Disgusting and ashaming.
