"A relaxing stay"

Amazing staff and owner. Gabriel went out of his way to ensure that everything was perfect. We felt very safe. Beautiful views, quiet, and a swimming pool to relax at. A beautiful hike up to the ridge. Spotless accommodation. We appreciate the extra care, such as cleaning our braai each day. This is an amazing part of the country. Please support this venue so that they can continue to thrive.

The 1.7km dirt road up to the venue is in a poor state and is not recommended for low cars. We know that this is a shared road, and this is beyond the control of the venue. Bring most of your own food and drinks and do not rely on the few shops or restaurants in the area. Be alert if you do shop at the nearby Spar, where security is not the best.

"Our stay was very disappointing stating with the bad Road. r"

Good view. Nice pool. Prompt notification that I left my laptop there and generous offer to bring it to me.

Bad Road. Too detailed info provided on arrival about exactly what was in the kitchen. No gas in stove. Had to ask for it. VERY dirty under bath. Low quality boards inside bedroom cupboard. Cupboard in bathroom not clean and had unwanted contents in it. Black carpets are slippery and dangerous. Should be secured by carpet protector. Decor is not consistent, e.g. Old style wooden cupboards in the kitchen with modern floor and wall tiles. Face-lift of cupboards would assist.

"Exceptional, Peaceful and Cosy."

The facilities are tranquil and very family friendly. The host Gabriel was professional, friendly, patient and very helpful. We will surely visit with friends or family again.

The route to the lodge needs more signage as we arrived at night and was not well directed, so we had to call Gabriel for guidance.
