Tranquil Mountain Cottage :Hikes/Boma/Animals/Pool

The staff and the place. Its an hour away from home and convinient.

The matress was uncomfortable. Left with a sore neck. The breakfast could do with more seasonong. We were looking forwars to the heated pool.

Good value for money. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. The flat and linen were very clean. Nice to have a Weber available. Hikes were pleasant.

Diningroom table with three chairs was too small for a family of four and the lounge could do with an extra comfortable chair. The lighting in the kitchen/lounge is very dim. A shower in the bath would be good.

Our two hosts we friendly and helpful. Big ups to Gabriel and Mike they made our stay a pleasant one.The rooms were clean, comfortable bed enjoyed the obstacle course and hiking. The place is breathtaking.

Everything was beyond our expectations. We got everything that we wanted and more.. Nungo and her staff my goodness ☺️☺️☺️ I can't stop praising all that is Rising Rocks. Even when our car broke down our beloved host managed to get us home safe.. definitely coming back soon 😊😊😊😊😊😊.

The host (Nungo)was so friendly and with a bubbly personality fit for the hospitality industry. She welcomed us with a great smile and kept it through the whole weekend. Her communication with us was frequent and detailed all the time. The place from the entrance is clean to the chalets....true meaning of cleanliness is next to Godliness, the place is spotless. Beautiful and well maintained garden which made it easy to take a splash in the pool, the temperature allowed it. The history that runs in that farm is well kept which was great for kids because they will always have a reference point to the farm. Morning hike was the best, reaching the top of the mountain and having a prayer moment was a great start to the lent season. Then we sealed it off with a braai watching the sunset, telling stories and singing at the boma. We are definitely coming back and will refer the place to our friends and relatives. Plus we owe the host a picnic....

The owner and the host were very friendly and service was excellent. The place was so relaxing and accommodate family with kids. They have a play area, the swimming area, the braai spot on top of a mountain was amazing

Beautiful setting, attentive hosts, overall superb getaway! :)

Water pressure was affected by loadshedding, but hosts had backup plan of additional tank which kicked in after a short time :)
