Lumina at The Village Luxury Residences in Corasol

Location was okay.

The kitchen was AWFUL. 3 plates, utensils, cups?? 1 coffee cup was completely cracked. The fry pans were DISGUSTING. Utensils were lacking at best. Couch was uncomfortable. Chairs were uncomfortable. Very "cold" feeling. Walls. The powder room did NOT have a mirror. Only privacy blinds were in the bedroom. Bed TOO BIG. No room to move around bed. Lights lacking in the bedroom. Safe DID NOT work.

Lovely condo. Comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable. Parking garage was handy. Beautiful surroundings. My wife loved the way it smelled upon entering.

Wi-Fi was pretty bad during our stay. It lacked simple things, such as: No towel racks. No place to hang toiletry kits. The shower floor was very slippery. Tons of tiny ants on kitchen counter, even though we had no food in the condo. No chairs or furniture on the terrace by the bedroom.

• The apartment is beautiful with a nice design. • It has all the essentials (except for laundry detergent and dishwashing liquid). • Quiet and safe neighborhood. • Underground parking available. • If you have a car, all the city’s cafes and entertainment are just a 10-minute drive away. • A nice paid beach with a café is 20 minutes away, with calm and clear water when we visited.

• Location is isolated; nothing nearby except for the apartment itself. • The nearest café is a 20-minute walk. • Taxi to any point in the city costs $20. • The terrace was dirty, making it impossible to sit on the couch or at the table. • Only one power outlet near the bed (though this seems to be common in the area). • We encountered three large cockroaches, including in the bedroom. • The doors don’t seal tightly, allowing insects to get inside.

The apartment is beautiful and cozy. Perfect size and well equipped. The free access beach club was amazing and very private. The staff was also quite nice :)

Several issues - When it rains the room starts flooding. I spent quite some time mopping at morning and night so the water didn’t reach our stuff. - Due to construction there were some electricity issues. The elevator didn’t work during the whole stay and one night there was no electricity at all for some minutes. - WiFi was from the next room. So there was poor signal. - The main door gets stuck and needs quite some strength to close it every single time. Still out stay was amazing and can recommend!

Excellent new development, very well landscaped, clean and new. You are next to a golf course and a Secrets Hotel.

Not enough towels for the bathroom. Also communication while staying at Lumina is not easy, it is only by WhatsApp and these are people at a call centre. It was difficult to figure out where to park and could not find front desk when we arrived.
