The location was perfect for exploring the city centre. Easily accessible from the airport by local bus. The amenities including the pastries and coffee for breakfast were much appreciated. The bathroom was very clean and well stocked with supplies like extra toothbrushes/toothpaste, tissue paper etc. upon arrival we had everything we needed, including treats, water, juice, yoghurt and a bottle of wine 😁

There was nothing we did not like. We would highly recommend this property. Maurizio and Germana waited for us to arrive and made sure we were settled in. We appreciated all of the care, preparation and personal touches they provided.

I would 100% recommend this property. The location is fab - just a 5 minute walk to the cathedral and other major landmarks. There are loads of excellent bars and restaurants near. The apartment was spotlessly clean. The hosts literally thought of everything you would need for a brilliant stay. Things I didn't expect such as beach towels and Sun cream, all manner of toiletries, etc. A real bonus was the hosts left a care package of food and goodies which was such a welcome treat and a lovely gesture. It is perfect for a stay in Catania (Catania is fab also!!).

Our hosts made sure we had everything we needed for breakfast. They waited for us with a basket full of goodies and a full refrigerator.

Everything was as we expected, our hosts were nice and gave us directions including parking the car.

The property is located close to all the attractions and good restaurants in town. The owners were very friendly and greeted us at the start of our stay and left us lots of goodies in the property which was really nice. They also allowed us to check out a bit later.

The only issues were the mosquitos in the room and the neighbor’s dog barking.

Great location, very central! Hosts were amazing, we arrived late and yet they waited for us to give us keys and explained property. On top of it, they filled the fridge, provided snacks, coffee, local sweets, wine (unfortunately food outdoors was so great, we did not find place in our stomachs for sweets we got in the apartment). Everything was very clean, towels, hairdryer etc provided.

There were very few things but maybe worth mentioning. One is the number of mosquitos that kept appearing every time we come back from the outdoors, owner did provide liquid against it but it was not enough, we were lucky that we had an additional one with tablets (we visited in April so not sure if we were unlucky with the season or so). We did not expect amazing view or so, but do know that there is not much light coming into the apartment as apartment is facing internal courtyards (it was cave-like feeling, which maybe in summer is a plus but for us was quite dark). Last one would be cut out without window between toilet and kitchen which does not prevent smell to spread around (maybe this is some work in progress?)-however, it was still possible to close off kitchen and bathroom away from bedroom, but not ideal. Even though there are these few comments, we made it work and experience was overall good.

There must be several nice spots in Catania, but this property is definitely located at one of the most fascinating ones. Calm, silent and close to everything in a coupe of minutes. Maurizio is a fantastic owner, very professional and warm-hearthed. The apartment is situated in an authentic Sicilian building so you go local by living there. It is just like home, nice and clean, fully equipped with all you can need. Thank you again for this wonderful stay.
