Excellent location, close to the heart of Franschhoek village, historic house with generous spaces and well equipped. We had a lovely family weekend.

Lovely thatched-roof cottage with ample space for 6 guests (our group size) and a pleasant garden for braais or just relaxing outside. Perfectly located to do the wine tram tour, as it sits within walking distance of the tour starting point (no worries about drinking and driving). Also about a 5-7min walk to get down to the start of the main stretch for restaurants, pubs, cafes etc. (where Hussar Grill and the Franschhoek Station Pub sit)

Garden and pool are beautiful - summer house for sure.

The house is very cluttered and not as upmarket as we anticipated from the pictures, reviews and price. Very very cold so one definitely needs to use the fireplace, however there is not enough seating in the lounge for 8 guests only for 6 ( and not very comfortable either.

Second time we are renting that place and we can only recommend it ! Super well located and super calm. All what you need is available ! Thank you Ria for the excellent welcome !

The property needed either air conditioning or more fans. We only had breakfast in the property went out for all other meals..

Said what I thought in the previous statements. Thought the lady could have been a little more informative re instructions her English was very thick.
