Casa Bocchi, Luxury apartment in Historical Palace

Fantastic location right in the centre of Bologna in a beautifully renovated apartment in a fabulous historic building and with a parking space (access at Via Goito 16 - it’s a gated parking area so someone needs to meet you to let you in). Very comfortable beds and bathrooms. The photos on booking.com do not do the place justice - it is brighter and more modern in reality.

The induction hob was very temperamental which made cooking challenging - it might be that the pans provided do not work well with the hob. Communication with the owner could have been better.

Location great as it was near the centre of the city with many restaurants and bars.

Advertised as two bathrooms but one was on the bottom floor near the front door in the laundry with the other two floors up servicing both bedrooms. The layout just didn’t work. Also there’s a working restaurant downstairs which opens onto the building’s courtyard with kitchen staff making a lot of noise yelling and banging dishes into the early morning. Kitchen and living areas were good but the second downstairs bathroom was not ideal when bedrooms are two floors up.

В апартаментах было очень холодно — настолько, что на улице было теплее. Кондиционеры старые и не работали, вместо тепла дул холодный воздух. Мы с детьми спали в одежде, носках и даже в шапках, но всё равно мёрзли и в итоге все заболели. Когда я обратилась к хозяину с просьбой включить отопление хотя бы в ванных комнатах, он ответил, что отопление включают только после 15 октября. Однако батареи стояли только в санузлах, и другого источника тепла не было. Кроме того, в кухне были очень неустойчивые стулья — ребёнок дважды упал, и я сама несколько раз чуть не упала. Достаточно просто немного облокотиться, и стул переворачивается. Это опасно, особенно для детей.

το κατάλυμα ειναι εξαιρετικό, δε θα μπορούσα να πω τίποτα αρνητικό για τις παροχές, ανεση, τοποθεσία. Το μόνο που πιστεύω ειναι υπερβολική η τιμή του, ναι ειναι ενα υπέροχο σπίτι, αλλά πάρα πολλά τα λεφτά , το ακριβότερο από όλα τα ταξίδια που έχουμε κάνει.
