Casa Bocchi, Luxury apartment in Historical Palace

No smart tv

Lots of space, position in center, two bathrooms,

More glasses. Not enough for 4 persons

The property was very clean and had all we needed. Plenty of space and a beautiful place.

Nothing

Lovely apartment, but the (really old looking) AC broke down after the first night which meant we literally lived within a baking oven. It was so hot inside we could hardly find any sleep. For the remaining 3 days the hosts offered to bring over fans, but with 37°C outside that didn't help (and actually wasn't what we paid for). Unfortunately, this took a lot of the joy out of our vacation.

The handrail up to the upper floors was wobbly and needs to be secured.

Francesco met us shortly after our arrival and helped us to maneuver the car for parking. He then guided us to the apartment, briefed us on getting in and out and on the basics of the apartment, and, thinking ahead, let us know how we would turn in the keys upon checkout.

The apartment is in the heart of the downtown area and its ZTL (restricted traffic zone), so we are very nervous about receiving a ZTL fine in the mail a few months from now! Francesco took a picture of our car license plate, so hopefully our stay at a property in the ZTL will be processed correctly! I would recommend putting some cursory advice in the property profile about ZTLs so that your guests don't panic like we did a little bit!
