The view, the area, the environment, the place itself

We had a wonderful family stay at this beachfront homestay. The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the pool was nice and well-maintained. The beach is rocky, but with water shoes it was no problem, and the kids loved it — especially with the kayaks. Overall, it was a peaceful and enjoyable stay, perfect for quality family time. Highly recommended! 🌊✨

1.The villa: It is not new but it is still nice ! It looks just like in the photos and video as per the villa’s website - the overall design and layout are simply conducive for a big group. Its surrounding compound is also of a reasonable size for various activities. 2. Facilities: Facilities for bbq or games like ping pong, badminton, archery & kayaking are available at the villa. 3. Safety: We feel secure here as there is a caretaker who stays at the property. Also, the surrounding bamboo fencing around the villa gives us the privacy and protect us from prying eyes. 3. Location: The front of the villa faces the road but the back faces the sea. One can either swim in the sea or use the swimming pool which overlooks the sea. 4. The beds are firm and pillows are good. They are comfortable to sleep on.

1. Booking.com needs to update its details for this villa. Two of the rooms which, according to the website have double beds only have single beds. The correct information is vital to us. Based on Booking.com, the villa can fit a max of 12 pax. In actual fact, based on the type of beds in each room, it can fit a max of 10 pax. This is on the presumption that no one wants to sleep on the sofa or the floor. I sent a message to the owner and also via booking.com for confirmation - there was no response. Phone calls to the owner were not picked up. Very disappointing..😬 2. The air conditioner in the living room gives out a musty smell. I think it’s time to change / repair it as it can affect the health of tenants to breathe in unclean air. 3. The tiles in the bathrooms can be a bit slippery when wet. There is no water outlet for the water to flow out and no exhaust fan to dry the floor. It can cause people to slip off the floor. 4. Last but not least - do take note that although this villa has 5 bedrooms, there are only THREE bathrooms in this villa- two of which are located inside the rooms whilst the other one is outside the rooms. So you can just imagine when you have the max 10 pax staying in this villa, having to share 3 bathrooms can be a bit tricky especially if they are seniors who need to use the bathroom frequently.
