The rooftop is amazing. One of the best views and sunsets in Puerto Escondido.

The location. Far from the center - about 10-15 min walk with hills. Also, the room is a bit small, and the rooftop opens at 11 am and closes at 8 pm, so there isn't a place to hang out

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Macarena. The location is perfect, peaceful and quiet, yet still just a hop away from all the action. The rooftop with the infinity pool is absolutely stunning and quickly became our favorite place to chill, watch the sunset or escape from the heat during the day. Shout out to the bartender on the rooftop who was available to serve you with a snack, a drink or just a nice chat. Starlink works perfeclty. The boutique-style design of the entire property gives it a really special atmosphere, the bed is super comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped with everything we needed. Thank you for creating such a wonderful place in la punta!

Rooftop was gorgeous.

The bed was hard as a rock. Could not sleep and ended with a sore back everyday. The hotel is also up a really steep hill that is hard to get to.

Mooi appartement, fijn zwembad, bar gaat pas om 11 uur open, dus je kunt er niet echt ontbijten. Wel prima en lekker aanbod van eten en drinken. Leuk en vriendelijk personeel bij de bar.

-de communicatie rondom onder andere inchecken en nieuwe badlakens voor zwembad (nooit gekregen) verliep wat moeizaam, we hebben het hele verblijf niemand gezien, allen per Whatsapp contact (wel vriendelijk, maar enorm onpersoonlijk) -in principe wordt er tussentijds niet schoongemaakt, dus ook niet je vuile prullenbak naast toilet geleegd -wij vonden het bed echt het slechtste van onze hele reis door mexico, er was helaas geen oplossing voor, want geen extra topper beschikbaar of iets dergelijks, wel kregen we hiervoor extra beddengoed, maar dit lostte niets op - de weg naar de locatie is echt verschrikkelijk, wij begrijpen niet dat andere reviews vinden dat je veilig naar centrum kunt lopen, want het ligt echt heel donker en afgelegen. Met de auto is de weg heel uitdagend doordat er nergens asfalt ligt en er enorme gaten in de weg zitten. Ook de eigen parkeerplaats is onverzorgd.

Great building and apartment with super helpful, English speaking staff! It was amazing that you can use the amenities before and after check in and check out.

It is a little walk to the center and beach over an unsealed road which can be dark at night, so make sure you have light.

The terrace and the pool there are very nice. I also liked that they have a bar where you can have breakfast or just a drink. The staff was very kind.

The biggest problem for me was the towels, the smell was horrible. Even though they changed them daily (upon request), they still had this horrible smell that I can't even describe. I noticed that there were other comments, people complained about the towels, but the owners decided not to do anything about it. With such a small investment (buying new towels) you can make such a big difference. The street is very bumpy which makes the road to the sea difficult to walk even though it is 10 minutes from the beach. The room was dark, the linen was cheap.

Very stylish, well maintained hotel with excellent service, beautiful rooftop, clean and cosy. I enjoyed so much my staying there! All my needs were satisfied and i can recommend staying here from all heart.

Las instalaciones son cómodas, el roof top y área de alberca está genial.

La entrada al estacionamiento está muy accidentada, podrían rellenar un poco para que el acceso de los huéspedes que llevan auto no sea tan complicado.
