These views of the bay can’t be beat!! This carriage house makes all of my senses happy! So many unique details. The whole place is a piece of art! The bed and sofa are super comfy and private courtyard is great for pet potty breaks. Beautiful even in the Winter. Next time I’ll bring our kayaks. Dana is an incredible host and really respects your privacy.
It’s really hard to be critical about anything! But i have to say a full size sink in the kitchen would have allowed me to do the dishes for her.

Being on the water was beautiful. The location was magical.
There was no hot water for the beautiful bathtub, which was quite disappointing on a cold night after a long hike. Communication with the host was not so good. There were no returned emails or texts.

"Perfect weekend getaway on the water."

The location on the water was perfect. The views. Comfortable bed. Decor in the house was fun and interesting. Attention to detail and the personalized touch was predominant throughout the house. It felt very spacious. There was an outside patio for use but we mainly hung out on the dock for the views. We were a party of two and it was perfect for that. The owner allowed us early check in and late check out that particular weekend which was much appreciated. We were escaping from the heat and it had an AC unit that we barely had to use as the house stayed cool most of the day. Very peaceful.
It was a little expensive for one night for our usual budget. I probably would have stayed two nights otherwise. I figured it was worth it for the access to the water and the views and the need to escape the heat of the city that weekend. It was a little confusing on arrival. It needs better signage for the carriage house entrance and where to park.
