The accommodation was so comfy, had more than everything we needed. Location is out in the sticks but the directions provided were so helpful. It felt like we were in our own home, but in the middle of nowhere. Perfect escape from work and life

Nothing it was all fab

We enjoyed the fantastic views, the quiet location. The villa has good underfloor heating which makes it feel very cosy and comfortable. The facilities in the villa are good. We appreciated the area for no disruption around.

A suggestion would be nice in the future to have a sheltered area outside to sit underneath in all weathers.

The setting was beautiful, with fantastic views. House was was super clean, warm and really well equipped. Everything you need to cook and relax. There was plenty of space, and we loved sitting by the fire pit and enjoying the beautiful views and peace.

Simon and his family are really very nice and helpful. Excellent communication! The view on the lake and surrounding hills are magnificent! It's a nice small holiday house with 2 bathrooms, very comfortable and clean. Next to the house is a football garden/pitch that can be used. Our 6 years old son loved it!

Although our overal experience was very good, it felt as if the holiday house isn't perfect for warm summer days and for longer stays as we had (we stayed 14 nights in July). The few sunny days we had made the living room very hot. There are no curtains or shutters, so the sun and heat had free rein. The bedrooms were cooler but also not heat-resistant. After a few days, the owner brought a fan, but the problem is the lack of blackout and blinds from outside. In addition, the bedrooms cannot be darkened sufficiently. I had trouble falling asleep every night and woke up far too early due to incoming sunlight. Exterior shutters would make a very big difference. A final downside was the difficulty we had in getting the floors clean. We were immediately allowed to use a hoover when we asked for it, but a way to mop the floor would also be welcome. All the things I mention here do not detract from the wonderful host that Simon is and the good experience we had overall. But to our feeling, the cottage is much more suitable for slightly shorter stays and outside the summer period.

Absolutely spotless, extremely well equipped, there was everything one would need, dishwasher tablet, milk, biscuits, J cloths, every thing for an easy stay, easy parking, very quiet and fabulous views. The owner lives onsite and was extremely pleasant.

There was nothing that we didn't like! We would stay again.
