Bungalow in lovely setting.Ten minutes to Longleat

The location was lovely, very quiet. The bungalow is fully equipped with everything you need. I love the small touches too, milk and bread, jam, eggs, cookies etc

There is nothing not to like

Nice of the hosts to provide bread, milk and I believe fresh eggs from the farm. The pickups instructions were exactly right.

The location is in the middle of nowhere and is surrounded by single lane country roads which are scary to drive down. Beware there can be deer in the road.

The place was clean and practical. The welcome pack set you up really well. The best bed for comfort I ever had in such a property. Lovely views.

Lovely countryside views, and a large enclosed garden. Nice that it had a barbecue. The welcome basket of food was nice.

Very dated inside. The bathroom ceiling looks mouldy. There were dead bug marks on the bedroom walls. It just needs to be freshly decorated.

Beautiful location, peaceful. Great for wildlife. Comfortable & ideal for families.

No slip mat in the bath. Would have liked a bigger fridge.

Visiting Longleat so location great, my father has very limited mobility so the fact is a bungalow was ideal

Very dated, although fully equipped the property is in need of sprucing up and in need of being freshly decorated, not a high standard of decor or furnishings but wouldn’t complain only on our last evening of a short stay all the electricity tripped leaving us in darkness, we linked it to the shower but couldn’t get the electricity back on, we contacted the host and she was shocking in her attitude, she lives an hour and a half away, had her tooth out that day, what was she supposed to do about it! So nothing in place for such an event, myself, son, elderly parents were left to deal with it ourselves, my father is terminally ill with dementia and Parkinson’s so the trip although challenging was pleasant enough until then, a phone call to my husband finally helped us to figure out how to get the electricity back on without tripping but without being able to use the shower.
