Farriers Cottage-Tranquil Haven, Central Location!

A very comfortable house in the centre of town. Well equipped and very clean. The house has one bathroom and 2 additional toilets and the layout was ideal for our family group of 2 children, parents and grandparents. The town centre with multiple shops and eateries was within a couple of minutes walk Highly recommended.

The parking space was a bit tight for our vehicle, but it was very easy to park in the free spaces of the public carpark.

This property is so lovely, the decor is very tasteful (exactly as pictured) and it’s so well thought out. Everything you’d need as a couple or family is there, and the location is great for a short walk into Hexham. The little outside space was a surprise too as I’d not noticed it had that when I booked and we had nice weather. We will definitely go back to Farriers Cottage in the future!

Literally the only thing I could fault was the bit of road noise on the morning (which of course the property can’t help- it’s right next to a road- not even a busy one- just one that people seem to use on a morning! it wouldn’t stop me going back at all though, I’d maybe just take some ear plugs next time as the place was worth it!

Just beautiful - gorgeous design very high spec, the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in (and this is huge praise indeed from my 83 year old mum). And fab location right at the heart of lovely Hexham.

The only thing that could possibly add to the property to make it perfect for us would be a walk in shower on the ground floor - purely because the bath wasn’t accessible for my mum - but we did know this when booking.

The location is its strength a hop skip and a jump your in the centre. The cottage has everything you need for a short or long stay. We used it as a base for a hedonistic week end of horse racing and pub crawling. It was perfect.

It didnt last long enough.

The property was in an excellent location, the quality of the furnishings and decor was superb. We could have lived there happily.

Excellent location for Hexham and surrounding area. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Exceptionally clean accommodation.
