The location is not so good, pictures on booking.com showed a nicer place

Congestion and struggling to get WiFi

Excellent location - near the Gateway mall and the Umhlanga beach - there are lots of eateries and shops within walking distance

Place has no back up power ( two outages experienced on the 15th (10PM-12AM and morning of the 16th - we also had unreliable wifi connection - had an outage for the entire 2nd day of stay and this was not remedied despite relaying to property owners Directions to unit were not clear - we did not know which apartment we were to check into on arrival - apartment name not recognised easily even by local on the street Check in on 14th was torrid, we waited more than 1.5 hours (post identification pod our apartment) to get keys to unit and place looked to have been rashly cleaned Cleanliness can improve - glass fragments presumably from previous stay/s were picked on carpet in the lounge (wife was cut up by the same) and a remnants of a necklace The towels were visibly dirty (some were left hanging in the balcony) & there was laundry left in both the washing machine and in the drier The house was missing toilet paper & also had half used shampoo /lotion bottles - the broken blinds in both bedrooms looks to be small issues that can also be fixed easily & propose to have basic cleaning materials for utensils in the kitchen Concave mirrors can be added on levels 2-4 for added driver safety when going up /down the ramp as the spiral access on driveway is not well lit on some parts and there is risk of crashing into oncoming cars
