Craig View Fishermans Cottage nr Harbour and Beach

Ideal good location & proximity to town and sea front , especially for anyone with limited mobility . A surprisingly spacious and well appointed property both in decor & facilities and a very good cleaning management . An all round pleasantly comfortable home from home . We would not hesitate booking this again . A very pleasing and restful experience . Many thanks !

Possibly not as spacious for larger families . Not able to park your vehicle directly alongside property . However local neighbours were very accommodating and obliging , allowing you time to unload luggage etc. when you arrive and depart . There is also good parking available ( with a Permit supplied ) at Public car park a 100 metres away . The rear courtyard offers private Sunny location . However the outdoor furniture would benifit for some comfortable cushions . Other than this the property was outstandingly appointed and comfortable .

Great location. Parking isn't a problem in the very nearby car park. Shower is powerful. Beds are comfortable. Upstairs is nicer than downstairs. Barmouth has a lot to offer, considering it's size, we enjoyed the shops and pubs. Lovely walks and great beaches and views.

Only one tea towel for 7 days. 1 millimeter of hand-wash left in the bathroom and half a toilet roll wasnt great after a long journey. Bathroom window will not shut, I appreciate the need to open the window while showering, but the room was cold because of this. The cleanliness of the kitchen utensils, cups, pots and pans was lacking. The patio was not inviting, and no cushions for the garden furniture made it unusable. The instructions for recycling were overly complicated, and hindered by not having any bags for the food waste.

Kitchen was not well equipped for cooking for 6 people.

Pros Location (2 min walk from beach) everything you need is close by. Free parking Comfy beds Dish washer Washing machine Good space for family of 4 Lots of pans for cooking Big freezer We had a great time as a family, such a beautiful scenic place with lots to do within an hour drive. The beach is stunning whatever the weather. Top tip Book restaurants before you go, we weren't organized and ended up having to cook most days.

Cons Not clean enough - had to clean bowls / plates and cutlery before use Bathroom sink was dirty Needed a hover - keep the floor clean after the beach  Small towels  No extractor fan in the bathroom Seemed they controlled the heating remotely which kept dropping to 10 degrees The house was just fine for our stay with no frills.
