"A relaxing, comfortable break in a beautifully decorated house"

9.0

Lovely internal decor, a real “home from home” and just a five minute walk to the harbour side and the attractions of Amble seafront (including fresh fish, and if you are lucky, a dolphin display!)

Did manage to get parked on the road outside, however proved to be a bit hit and miss as to how far away from the property this was as a busy street.

"A well appointed house in a great location"

9.0

A lovely modernised terraced house a couple of streets back from the Harbour Front Village and the High Street. The kitchen/diner was well equipped and there was a super 'welcome pack' of local goodies, wine and a pint of milk waiting for us on arrival. The lounge was cosy with two large sofas to relax on in front of the TV. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, with plenty of drawer and wardrobe space for clothes. The bathroom was small but well furnished, with a 'waterfall' and a hand-held shower over a good sized bath; and there were complimentary refillable bottles of shower gel, shampoo etc. Host Elaine provided timely, clear information about the arrival process, and was responsive to questions about the facilities at the house. As we were travelling from Hampshire it was hard to judge the arrival time but Elaine let us know as soon as the house was available, so we didn't have to worry about leaving everything in the car when we first arrived. Overall this was a great place to stay, and perfectly located to explore both the town of Amble and the many other visitor attractions along the Northumbrian Coast.

Parking was on street but there were plenty of spaces available during our stay. Not sure whether that would be true during peak season.
