"Vervallen huis zonder comfort waar je niet blij van wordt"

Er was niet veel positiefs te melden over dit vervallen koloniale huis, maar in potentie zou dit een prachtig pand kunnen worden. Tenminste als iemand bereid is om hier gericht in te investeren.

Het leek alsof het huis al lange tijd niet verhuurd is geweest. Het was vies, donker, slecht te verwarmen, had ondeugdelijke badkamers waar je zo min mogelijk tijd in wilt doorbrengen. Zeer beperkte keukenfaciliteiten; ook niet bepaald schoon. Geen schoonmaakmiddelen. De bedden en dan vooral de matrassen verdienen ook niet de schoonheidsprijs. Ruiten in het woongedeelte waren gebarsten en het dak lekte op meerdere plekken. Toen we de haard maar zijn gaan opstoken kwamen er honderden vliegende mieren uit alle kieren en gaten. De foto's op booking.com dekken absoluut de lading niet van dit ooit mooie koloniale huis. Heel lang geleden. We zijn een dag eerder weggegaan.

The property was well-equipped with everything we needed. The house and decor was very nice and comfortable. We really loved the grassy, enclosed yard. It was great for the kids. The house had some mechanical issues while we were there, but the owner and caretaker were apologetic and quick to respond.
