Granby Cottage, Peak District National Park

Beautiful, well equipped, spacious property in a lovely village. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. Large living space and comfortable beds. Very well equipped for a family stay in a very friendly village.

The range cooker took a very long time to cook meals but everything else perfect!

Lovely cottage in a great location. Close to amenities. The kitchen was great with everything we needed for a few days. Garden with seating was very good, bit of a sun trap!

The living room was a little dark but suppose that's to be expected with a cottage. The steps to upstairs were very steep. The church bells going off during the night was very annoying especially if you sleep at the front with the window open. That's not down to the homeowner. The pub opposite was a little noisy at closing time, people poured on to the street with little consideration for residents in their homes

Parking was difficult- not clear that we couldn’t park right outside, lots of steep steps to garden, lighting was quite poor.

Lovely cottage in a great location. Highly recommend the pub across the road. Friendly staff, good atmosphere and lovely food.

Some door lintels were only 6ft. WiFi not brilliant.

beautiful house, with touches to make you very comfortable and set up for your stay in the most picturesque location. I would recommend this space and Tideswell to anyone wanting to stay in the Peaks for any type of holiday. Perfect for lots of walking and for none at all, one of the bedrooms and an additional bathroom is downstairs which was perfect for my parents who are unable now to climb stairs, and there was amenities close enough for even someone who struggles to walk far. thank you for a perfect stay ♡
