Luxurious Family home in Newlands with Pool

Arrived on the Friday where there was no gas until the next day at 4pm . We could not cook and food was wasted. Property team had poor communication with us regarding this they kept informing us someone is on the way to bring the gas. The neighbourhood had an electrical issue so there was no power from 12pm to 22:00 . The team knew this and still put the place as available. We stayed in darkness the whole day. I had private chefs and photographers coming in who were paid already and could not do their work and thus money went down the drain once again. We pleaded with them to give us a refund because why would I book a place to have no power all day. They refused and were extremely unprofessional and rude . I have no met such inconsiderate and greedy people ever. I honestly had an awfully experience.

The home is beautiful, brand new, we loved the decor, the staff and the home in general. Everything you need in a rental and more. Facilities outstanding

Unfortunately only reason I can’t rate and give a full rating is from the day we arrived we had luke warm / cold showers, all 3 bathrooms. We did message following day at 8am on our next day (first morning) I thought that would give plenty time on a Sat morning to get a plumber out however nothing was done we did get an apology though and were left with cold showers for the rest of our stay. Apparently previous guests also had same issue housekeeper had mentioned to me so I just thought this could have been sorted out prior to our arrival.

The property was absolutely stunning , the house is very comfortable and very elegant with a welcoming exterior and well maintained landscaping worth every cent will definitely be going back
