Das Appartement entspricht den Bildern auf Booking.com. Alles neu, sehr gepflegt. Bei der Ankunft war es trotz sehr guter Beschreibung etwas schwierig, in die richtige Straße einzubiegen (nicht in die Rua da Fabrica, sondern erst in die Hauseinfahrt danach!). Die Garage befindet sich im zweiten Untergeschoss und es ist tatsächlich ohne Reversieren nicht machbar die Kurve zu bekommen, aber daran gewöhnt man sich (wir hatten einen Opel Corsa). Ein nicht zu großes Auto ist sicher von Vorteil, aber dafür ist man auch mitten in der Stadt. Das Bett hat für uns super gepasst, wenn jemand sehr groß bzw. stärker ist, könnte es vielleicht ein wenig klein sein. Bei sämtlichen Fragen haben wir prompt Unterstützung übers Handy bekommen, waren sehr zufrieden und können die Unterkunft jedenfalls weiterempfehlen!

If you are taller than 1.7 meters, then the bed is only suitable for one person. The bed is deliberately photographed at an angle in the Booking.com pictures, so you can’t tell how small it actually is. At our request, the owner/agency provided bed sheets so that one person could sleep on the sofa. However, the sofa is not designed for sleeping—it has a lumpy surface—so sleeping on it is actually quite uncomfortable. Detailed instructions on how to reach the apartment, where the keys are located, where to park the car, etc., were only provided after we had landed in Madeira. Friends who rented an apartment in the same building received the instructions a week in advance, both in text and video format, and were able to prepare for their arrival. Friends who traveled with us rented an apartment in Block B of the same building (our apartment was in Block A), which is much quieter since it doesn’t face the main streets—unlike our apartment, which is very noisy, especially during rush hour. The apartment is also relatively expensive. For the same price, you can get a 30% larger apartment in the same building Block B, plus a terrace as a bonus. The parking is in the same building; however, the garage is extremely narrow, as is the parking space, so it takes quite a bit of maneuvering to park—especially if your spot is not on the ground level. The street where the apartment is located is also very narrow (you enter it from the main road at a 90-degree angle). For that reason, it’s recommended to rent as small a car as possible (a Smart car would be ideal, but it can’t fit suitcases).

Die Fenster waren nicht ganz lärmdicht

De accommodatie was super schoon, had een perfecte locatie met alles dichtbij zoals 2 supermarkten op 1-2 minuten loopafstand en de airco en wasmachine waren echt top tijdens ons verblijf.

We hadden graag een extra set handdoeken per persoon gehad.

Be warned the parking garage is very tight

It’s a lovely apartment, spotless clean and specious for two people. You will find everything there from fridge to vacuum cleaner, all items are listed and apartment itself looks exactly like on photos. Building is newly renovated and parking space in the underground garage is very convenient. Location is excellent with supermarket just around the corner and walking distance to restaurants. Check-in is easy, keys are in lock box and we got very specific instruction with photos. I would like to thank you Homie staff, Daniela and Andreia for kind and promptly response to all my questions and helping with airport transfer. Nothing was a problem. I highly recommend this apartment.
