A classic location. One of the most famous locations in Granada.

My room waa way too basic. My bed was just a matress on the floor. Barely furniture and the installement in general seem old, not in old as in Granada colonial infraestructure, but in lack of maintanance.

Pagamos un balcón frente al parque pero nos dieron uno al costado y del balcón no se veían nada, solo tejas de techo

Die Lage ist der Hammer und die ganze Atmosphäre hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Die Zimmer, zumindest meins, war nicht außergewöhnlich, aber gut.

We stayed in the private room with a balcony - it was a good size Comfy bed & pillows Good wifi Beautiful building - very colonial Great chill out areas - pool table, swimming pool, bar Free water refills Good location - right on the main square. However this can be a negative because so many tourist guides pester you as soon as you walk out

Beware - The person on the front desk told us they charge $3 for laundry, then they tried to charge us $45 and said it was $3 per pound! We ended up arguing with them and got it down to $16, which was still stupidly overpriced when we’ve paid $5 in other places in Nicaragua, and sometimes even got it free. Their WhatsApp ‘instant’ messaging service is not instant. I had to ask 4 times for more toilet paper (twice on WhatsApp and twice in person at the front desk) before someone actually brought some 24 hours later. Breakfast was fine, but we found hairs on 2 different days in our food The water totally stopped in our room - however they did fix it 2 hours later. Not enough hooks on the walls / shelf space for backpackers, even though there’s lots of wall space. Also no long length mirror. This is not the hotel’s fault, but there are horse drawn carriages directly outside. Please can we stop this cruelty to animals - most tourists are smart enough to know better.
