Poor cooking facilities. Somewhat difficult to eat outside (having to take lots of steps down and up). Quite far to reach supermarket

An impressive medieval tower located in the middle of a remarkable landscape surrounded by an olive grove. The pool is excellent, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The kitchen and facilities are well-equipped.

It is in the middle of nowhere, but this might not be a disadvantage for you. If you plan to stay, relax, and disconnect, this is the place for you. If you want to get out, be aware that getting to, e.g., Orvieto or Perugia is at least a one-hour drive, even when the distance looks short. The next supermarket is 20 minutes away. The internet connection is not good. Again, these are not necessarily disadvantages, but more a management of expectations.

A beautiful location, you can fully relax here. Not only the accommodation is perfect, it is also set in an unforgettable environment. Nazaro, the keeper, is very helpful, always at your service. We've enjoyed our stay very much.

The tower is part of a small castle on top of a hill. The castle is very nicely renovated and is located in a beautiful area. The property has a generous yard full of olive trees, access is through an automatic gate. From the tower you can see 72 neighboring towns. Many animals can also be seen from here. We saw deer and martens in the morning. In the evening it is a pleasure to sit on the terrace of the tower and admire the starry sky. The apartment is extraordinary. Beautifully furnished and very clean. The beds are large and comfortable with quality and clean linens. The kitchen is very well equipped. The coffee machine, with capsules for the entire stay. Very nice and clean bathrooms. The towels are impeccable. All windows have mosquito nets. The pool is very nice and clean, but the water is cold in October, even though it was 28 degrees outside during the day. We hadn't come to stay out at the pool anyway. There are many beds for those who want to stay in the sun. The owner, Mrs. Elisabetta, is very kind and helpful. Also Mr. Nazareno, the castle keeper was very kind, upon arrival he gave us a tour of the castle telling us a lot about the history of the building and the surroundings. He, living there, was helpful to us.

There are 2.3 km of stone road from the road to the castle. It must be driven carefully. TV is only in the club inside the castle but we didn't use it. WI-FI non-existent but we didn't need it.
