First of all, the accommodation does not look like the photos; it is much nicer. All rooms, including the bathroom, are spacious. Kudos and greetings to whoever cleans the apartment, it was super clean, and what I don't understand is that there wasn't a single cobweb in it, which is remarkable with such high ceilings (or maybe, considering that we're talking about an island that has shot to pieces most attempts at invasion, maybe that applies to spiders too). The apartment has been renovated with taste and beautiful details, yet it remains comfortable by today's standards. The living room and bedroom have a balcony with a beautiful view. The kitchen, although we only used it for morning coffee, is well equipped. The host communicated very well. We arrived late at night and we were offered easy self check-in. As for some of the negative aspects mentioned in the reviews, it is possible to heat the apartment with air conditioning in winter as it is common in southern countries. However, you cannot expect the same kind of heat as from our classic heating systems further north in Europe, they just don't need it for the same reason most of us don't have (yet) air-conditioning at home. Pack some warm clothes for sleeping and you will be fine. The water pressure was lower, but there is definitely enough hot water for two people, including for washing your hair. Do not hesitate to book this accommodation!

The only area for improvement are the blankets. They were just simple covers without bed linens, and one feels a little uncertain about who slept under them and whether they were washed. If you provided standard duvets, guests would love you in winter.

The apartment was absolutely beautiful, with a traditional Maltese balcony, high ceilings, well proportioned, lovely decor and a comfortable bed. The kitchen had all the basics I needed and the TV was fantastic. Everything was impeccably clean and in a lovely location. The owner was very helpful and patient when I had a small issue (my own misunderstanding) and made sure it was resolved immediately.

Due to the nature of the window shutters it was a bit louder than I had expected in the morning, being able to hear loud conversations in the street. I found the heating and air con slightly tricky to work out due to being tired and not having seen that sort of system before. A small note of how to use it might be helpful to others in future.

Authentic Maltese vibe and perfect stay! ​I booked this apartment for my daughter because I really wanted her to experience the true Maltese vibe. It was exactly what we were looking for! ​The location is wonderful and the apartment itself was spotless. Everything — from the kitchen appliances to the Wi-Fi — worked perfectly, which made the stay very comfortable. My daughter truly enjoyed herself. ​The area is nice and quiet, but you have excellent restaurants just a short walk away. ​As for me: everything was superb. Highly recommended!

Апартаментът е голям и за двама е чудесно. Леглото и възглавниците бяха удобни. Местоположението е много добро. На пешеходно разстояние от Биргу, бързия ферибот за Валета и до спирки на градския транспорт. В квартала има много ресторанти. Доволни сме и пак бихме отседнали в този апартамент.

Банята има нужда от закачалки и се мокри след душ.
