The apartment has plenty of room and is in an excellent location close to everything

We couldn’t find a toaster

The location was superb! We could experience Piazza Maggiore with its music and crowds from the apartment. Central location made it easy to pop out and see all Bologna had to offer!

Take slippers, floors were surprisingly cold!! There was very little to dislike!

The lift was out of order.

Perfect location, right on Bologna's beautiful main square with a breathtaking view of Piazza Maggiore. Very lovingly renovated, top quality flat in a fantastic old building. Very nice contact with the landlord, who was always available.

Nothing. Just a note for those who are very sensitive to noise. The flat is right in the city centre. There's still a lot going on until the evening, cleaning is done, shops are supplied. If you like to sleep with the window open, you'll notice. But in such an absolute top location, it's simply part of the deal.

Location was excellent. Right at the heart. Easy walking from the station. Amazing restaurants so close by. Even though it is so central the accommodation was not noisy. Great living room space and so lovely to look out onto the Piazza.

The location cannot be better! It is right above Piazza Maggiore and has a 2-5 minutes walking distance to almost everything. Not mentioning the free film every night during our staying at the piazza which is literally just downstairs. Amazing!!! Staffs are also super helpful and friendly. We have been in so many different places in Italy for vacation. This place is a unique experience and so far the best.

Steep stairs up to first floor for lift difficult when carrying bags etc. Cinema outside in Piazza noisy until late - would have been helpful to know.

The location was absolutely amazing. The view out the window is Piazza Maggiore, and there are literally dozens of restaurants and cafes within a 5 minute walk. There is no need or benefit to have a car, as everything is within walking distance. The apartment itself is historic and protected, with a gorgeous original fresco on the ceiling and original flooring. It is also very spacious with a large dining area, open living room, two full bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, a washing machine, and air conditioning. Michele, the manager, also arranged for a reserved parking space 250m away, which is a short walk and the closest parking possible. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment.

Because the building is old and historic, the staircases are narrow and steep, and the elevator only comes down to the main floor (so you must walk up one flight of stairs to access the elevator). Anyone who needs physical assistance would not be able to get up the stairs with luggage to the elevator. We did not have a problem, as we had smaller luggage and were capable of going up and down stairs easily.
