Prachtig ingericht en zeer verzorgd appartement in een hele mooie tuin! Wij zaten op de benedenverdieping met een schitterende patio met loungeset en tuinset, direct naast het zwembad. Locatie ook super, 3 minuten lopen van een supermarkt. Gastvrouw Marijana doet er alles aan om het naar je zin te maken. Ook gratis gebruik van wasmachine en droger is super!

The entire place truly feels like a serene sanctuary. Our room and the pool area were impeccably clean, and the host welcomed us with genuine warmth, almost as if we were staying with family. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the rooms spacious. With only two apartments available for rent at any given time, the atmosphere is private and quiet. Conveniently, a supermarket and bakery are just a short walk away, and reaching the city centre by Uber takes around 10 minutes, costing only 5-7 euros. Highly recommended!

Vi la Mare is an amazing place. The property itself is beautiful and the host, Marijana is just the best. It is situated in the perfect place. It’s about a 20-25 minute walk into the town, or €6-€10 for a taxi and €12-€20 at the weekend. Nearby there is a large supermarket, a couple of minutes walk away. Turning left out of the property, a 5 minute walk brings you to a bakery which we used for breakfast every day. They have a great selection of delicious pastries. We used both apartments. They are fully equipped with everything you need. They are spacious, have lots of seating areas and the beds were comfy. The pressure in the showers is great. Outside, the pool area is clean and beautiful with olive and fruit trees. There are plenty of beds and seating. We stayed at the beginning of September and we had the sun on the pool area for most of the day. The pool temperature is perfect. The added bonus was Bella, the host’s beautiful little dog. She is an absolute beauty and very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

After a 4.5 hour flight delay we were anxious that our arrival was going to be at 2am the following morning as opposed to the notifed 10pm that was organised and agreed. Marijana was extremely helpful and met us at the property without any fuss. We were extremely grateful to her. A spacious, light and beautiful apartment with a pool and garden setting. An oasis of calm. Additionally the taxi driver was a bit lost so Marijana spoke to him on our behalf with exact directions. An excellent host.

It was lovely to meet Marijana who was a very kind and helpful hostess. Bella, her dog was also a delight and so friendly. We loved staying round the pool, which was very clean. The construction work next door did spoil the peace and quiet at times, but that's not Marijana's fault. The apartment was very comfortable and furnished with such care, we felt immediately at home. We loved sitting out on the large balcony in the mornings and evenings too, plus the shower was fab!

It is a 25/30 minute walk to the old town, which might be a bit far out for some. However, we really enjoyed the walk, especially in the later/cooler part of the day, as there isn't much shade as you walk down the hill. For our family, being far away from the crowds at Zadar was good. It's worth noting the property is really set back from the road, behind 51, so my Uber driver couldn't find it at first!!

Lovely apartment with a beautiful pool. Perfect location in Zadar, only €6 for an Uber into town. Very friendly and helpful host, we would definitely recommend!

Beautiful apartment and Marijana was a lovely and helpful host. The pool is pristine, the kitchen is well equipped and we loved sitting outside. The location is great for exploring Zadar and places further afield, we hired a car but the walk into town was about 40 minutes, and the shop next door and bakery nearby are really handy. Would recommend!
