Sail Bay Pacific Beach San Diego California

The location was perfect 15 minute walk to the ocean a five minute walk to the bay very very walkable area. The house itself perfect layout three good size bedrooms, two bathrooms a great kitchen lots of space. Love that we could park in the driveway or even right in front of the house cute little porch with chairs and tables

I would say the only thing that I didn’t like was that there were no lamps next to the beds for those of us that like to read at night.

Communications and access to the keys

Great location. Short walk, two blocks away from the beach with lifeguard. Safe, quiet neighborhood. Close to the pharmacy too. Grocery stores (Vons and Ralphs) are short distance (about 0.4 mi) from the house. Within minutes to the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, La Jolla Cove. House has three private bedrooms. Comfortable beds and pillows. Adequate furniture in living room and dining area. Nice front patio too. Pleasant place to return to rest after our trips/activities around San Diego. Free parking available at front driveway. Coffee and coffee machine available. Cereals available for breakfast, but we only used the coffee and coffee machine. We wanted to try San Diego local food, so we bought breakfast from local bakeries. There are also coffee shops around the area. There is a refrigerator to keep our bottled water and can drinks cold. Locked laundry room available if needed, but we never used it, so I can't say anything about it.

Bring hairdryer. There were 2 irons, but no hairdryer. Anyway, there are electric fans, plus it was breezy and sunny outside so hair can dry naturally. House has no aircon. However, there is a portable window aircon that can cool the entire house, but we decided not to use it. We just used the electric fans. Slightly opened windows bring nice cool breeze in. Temp was 60s-70F during our stay. Ad says there are 3 bathrooms. There are only 2 bathrooms. However, it was OK to share.

Super amazing the place is clean the place comes with plates n cups no pots so bring your own but besides that very homie extremely clean I really recommend this lovely home

The property was on a nice street right around the corner from the residential beach area which was very nice, the bedrooms and furniture were very nice and comfortable as well.the kitchen is fully stocked with cups, plates,silverware,cutting boards etc. the dining table is big and the couch pulls out into a bed which was so nice and comfortable to hang out on and the tv had YouTube available for free movies. The house was full of supplies and storage. The laundry unit is shared but everyone around is very friendly and easy going. The rooms are spacious and the bedding was clean and well made. The bed in the master bedroom had a blow up mattress in the drawers as well if there is someone that needs another bed.

The only off putting finds here did not effect my stay at all they are just things I nit picked the doors do not shut or lock in a way that I felt very confident in them but there is a camera at the front door so that helped a little.the house was extremely humid and uncomfortable to be in for quite a while once we arrived due to the ac not being ran while no one was there. The ac to the house does not work there is a portable ac unit you plug in and run to cool the house which is completely fine it ended up working out for us just fine but the listing did not specify this and if you are coming from out of state like we did it’s not normal where we are from to show up to a rental and it be as if no one was there to make sure it was ready for us. The house is so close to the water so obviously it is humid so everything including the bed on the first night was wet and the house did not cool down til the next morning but after that we did enjoy it. There is a fan in every room that has a high setting that is noisy but I like noisy for sleeping so it was perfect for us. It was also very cool outside most of the time so having the windows open was no big deal and helped a lot but if someone likes not having everyone hear them or has a screaming baby like I did the windows are also very thin so people will hear you and you will hear people.also there is a lot of food in the house possibly left over from people that stayed there before,we did not eat any of it I’m not sure if it’s left there or there for people to eat but the house is full of food.none of these things truly bothered me they are just things I noticed. Overall the house was in good shape, clean fun very enjoyable and i would stay here again.

The location was winded we took many quick walks to the bay and enjoyed going the few extra steps to the beach as well. It was absolute perfect for us.
